Dr. Ronald E. Glousman is orthopedic surgeon, specializing in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery. He is a former team physician for a few popular sports teams like the Anaheim Ducks hockey team where he worked as an inaugural team physician from 1993 to 2010. He was also a team consultant for The LA Dodgers, the LA Lakers, the LA Angels of Anaheim and the LA Kings. Dr. Glousman is an active member of reputable organizations like the California Orthopedic Association, UCLA Medical School Alumni Association, the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons and the Association of Professional Team Physicians to name a few.
Dr. Glousman was born in Los Angeles, California. He grew up in this city and he has shown interest in sports and medicine since earliest age. After attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where he got his BA degree in Biology, Dr. Glousman attended UCLA School of Medicine where he graduated with honors. After the completion of his orthopedic residency at the University of Southern California Medical Center , Dr. Glousman then finished his Sports Medicine fellowship at the famous Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles, California.
